Practicing FDN Health Coaches do not treat symptoms. Instead FDNs assess and test body systems to ensure proper functioning. This musician's FDN Health Coach did some detective work and discovered that this client had strayed from his usual diet in recent months. He was feeling good so he added pizza every couple weeks, a sugary snack every couple weeks, and gluten was creeping into his daily routine via empanadas and granola snacks. To top it off, he was out of the country for two weeks eating only restaurant food filled with gluten, sugar, flour, etc.. It only took a week or so after that trip for the carpal tunnel symptoms to manifest.
FDN to the rescue. He immediately went back to his gluten free, no added sugar, no corn, no flour, no pasteurized dairy, only Himalayan sea salt, home cooked meals. Then he and his health coach started to work on the root cause of his symptoms: inflammation. The FDN Health Coach developed a protocol to reduce his inflammation which was a combination of supplements and essential oils. Within four weeks his hand was basically back to normal.
